Foundation Recovery

Delivered by an Open College Network accredited Wellbeing Coach, this is an in-depth psycho-educational programme that raises awareness of recovery principles and recovery capital, (i.e. Psychological, Physical, Emotional, Social and Cultural/Spiritual capital) that you can draw upon to begin and maintain your recovery.

Topics covered include: What is recovery? (principles and ethos); Changes 12 steps – a self-management tool; What is Recovery Capital? Wellness Action Plan (WAP) – helping you to use and develop Recovery Capital; Smart use of medication; Getting the best out of mental health services; Are you ready to change?
