Volunteering

In keeping with CHANGES user led ethos, users are encouraged to get involved in management, administration, and service delivery.

Management: membership of CHANGES Executive Committee is open to all service users, (currently all Executive members are users).  The Executive Committee is the management body responsible for making decisions, planning and reviewing the organisation's work.

Administration: opportunities exist for users to volunteer as Office Workers, involved in the day to day running of the organisation. Roles include - Funding and Development Worker, Public Relations Officer, and Social Secretary, (currently all volunteer office workers are service users).

Service delivery: opportunities exist for users to volunteer as Group Co-ordinators, who work in pairs to run CHANGES mutual help groups.
